The textual transmission of Cyril of Alexandria's exegetical work De adoratione et cultu in spiritu et veritate
has not yet been examined well since Father G.-M. De Durand presented
some preliminary results at the Oxford patristic conference in 1987.
Focusing on the first book of Cyril's work, this paper will offer a
short overview of the greek textual tradition as well as of the ancient
translations. By means of some examples, the main problems deriving from
the collation of the 16 manuscripts containing the first book will be
presented. Finally, a stemma codicum will be proposed.
