David Meconi: The Orderings of Love in Augustine's Theology of Charity

Augustine has no problem arguing that if God is love, then love is God, a taxonomical transformation he attributes even to John himself. What effect does inverting the nominative predicate have when understanding how love of God and love of neighbor (and self) are related?
